  • Enter a value in theHost Name or IP Address field. This is the IP Address of the Control port of the IMG to which you are connecting. If ClientView is running on the same server as the GCEMS, then you can leave the default "localhost".

ClientView will maintain entries in the Host Name/IP Address and Username fields so that you can easily select them from a drop-down list. By default, 5 Host Names and 5 Usernames will be retained in the history. You can change these values using the Application Properties pane. See IMG 1010 - ClientView Properties.

Creating a Configuration File

After configuring a specific object within ClientView, the objects must be "commitedcommitted" to allow the object to configure the IMG. To Commit an object, Right-click on the entry in the Configuration Tree and select Commit -or- simply select any other object in the tree.
