Installing the Framework

  1. Each user who will be using StarScope2 will need to login to the Business Voice Portal using their individual credentials, which will be their email address.

  2. Once logged in, Select the Individual Phone Settings option in the left side menu.

  3. In the right side of the page , scroll to down to Application Framework.

  4. Under Application Framework Click on Sangoma Download [windows] or Sangoma Download [mac] based on your device type.

  5. Once the download is complete, run the executable and install the Framework.

  6. After Installation, you will run the Framework software. The first time you run it, it will prompt for a username and password, which are the same credentials used to log into the business Voice Portal.

  7. Select the main extension for the employee.

  8. Once this is done, the program should load and the Framework Installation is complete.

Troubleshooting Graphical Issues

If a user runs into issues during the installation that could possibly be due to inadequate hardware, run the StarScope System Performance Check (SPC) application, which can be downloaded here: https://s2sframework.s3.amazonaws.com/
