  • Right-click Routing Configuration and select New Cause Code Tables.

  • Right-click on the Cause Code Tables object and select New Cause Code Table. A Cause Code Table Pane will appear.

  • Enter a Name for the table.

  • The ID is automatically populated with the next available table number.

  • The Routing Criteria Order field is automatically populated with Cause Code.

Adding Entries to a Cause Code Mapping Table:

  • Right-click the Cause Code Table just created and select Add Entry. The Cause Code Entry pane appears.

  • The ID field is automatically populated.

  • The Route Criteria Type field is automatically populated with Cause Code.

  • Click in the Criteria Values field, select a Cause Code from drop down menu. (Incoming Cause Code to match).

  • Click in the Route Action Type field, select Cause Code from drop down menu.

  • Click in the Outgoing Cause Code field, select a Cause Code if needed. (Outgoing Cause Code to send).

Assign Cause Code Table to Channel Group:

...

  • To create channel group right click on Routing Configuration and select New Channel Groups

  • Right Click on Channel Groups just created and select New Channel Group.

  • In the Channel Group pane click in the Incoming Treatment Field and select Release w/Cause from drop down menu.

  • In the Cause Code Mapping Table field, select from drop down menu the Cause Code Table created earlier.

  • In the Outgoing Treatment field, select from drop down menu Release w/Cause.
