Software Install Overview (Multi-Node)
The installation of the Multi Node system requires first installing the EMS software onto either a Virtual Machine or a Linux Server that has been pre-loaded with Red Hat Linux Enterprise 6.2. Once the EMS software has been loaded and installed, the IMG 2020 can be racked and system software can then be downloaded to the IMG 2020. The instructions below guide you through the process required to remove the IMG 2020 from shipping box, install the unit into a rack system, and load both EMS and system software. Once completed, the IMG 2020 will be ready to start configuring using the Web UI.

The MAC address can be acquired from the label located on the bottom of the chassis just below the SD Card and UART interfaces. The MAC address on the label is the MAC address given to the CTRL 0 interface on the rear of the unit. Copy the MAC address.
Mount the system. Refer to Rack Mounting topic in the Installing the Hardware section.
The IMG 2020 is powered by either AC or DC power. Refer to either Connecting AC Power or Connecting DC Power topic for information on connecting power.
