Saving Redirect Server Information
When using the Sangoma Phone Redirect Server you have 2 options when setting up a new phone. You can point the phone to a specific URL such as https://mypbx.com or you can pick from any PBX deployment that you have saved Redirect Server information on so you dont have to enter your URL every time you just pick the Deployment.
Below are steps to save Provisioning Information about your Deployment for the Redirect Server.
Log into the Portal at https://portal.sangoma.com
Click on Products > PBX → List All
Find the deployment for which you would like to save Redirect information for. Note that the Deployment ID number is shown in the "Deployment Name" column. Click on the edit button (Pencil Icon) for the deployment.
Click on the Phones tab at the top of your deployment screen
You can now save the IP or FQDN for this deployment along with optionally your HTTP(s) Username and Password if your PBX is setup with one for Provisioning and also the port we should use.
You can now setup information on how to reach this deployment for any phones that will be setup to redirect to this deployment.
IP Address/FQDN protocol
HTTP
HTTPS
FTP
TFTP
IP Address/FQDN for PBX
IP Address or FQDN for IP address of your PBX for your phone to reach. This can be internal or external IP depending on your setup and how your phones will be connecting.
Phone Provisioning Username and Password
Optionally set username and password to be used with HTTP/HTTPS or FTP if your PBX is protected with username and password for phone provisioning as defined in your System Admin module under Provisioning Protocols section as outlined in this wiki.
Phone Provisioning Port
Define what port is setup if using HTTP/HTTPS. This port is what you have setup on your PBX for HTTP or HTTPS provisioning as defined in your System Admin module under Port Management section as outlined in this wiki.
Press Submit to save your changes and now when you go to setup a new phone you can pick this Deployment instead of typing in the URL for each phone for the Redirect Server as outlined here.
