If you have a route table requiring a large number of entries you can use any text editor to quickly create the entries and then import them into a Route table in ClientView.

...

  • Right-click Routing Configuration and select New Routing Tables.

     

  • Right-click Routing Tables and select New Route Table.

  • Name the table and change the default ID and Routing Criteria Order if desired.

  • Commit the configuration.

  • Right-click on the table name in the object tree and select Add Route Entry.

  • Configure the entry to closely match the requirements of all of the entries you will be creating. When you export the file and use a text editor, you will be creating multiple versions of this entry and then changing fields, such as Router String, in each entry as required.

  • Commit this configuration.

  • Right-click the Route Table in the object tree and select Export To CSV.


     

  • In the Export to CSV dialog box, name the file and click OK. The file is saved to the opt/dialogic/common/import_export folder.

Add Entries to File

  • Return to ClientView

  • Right-click on the Route Table you are adding the entries to and select Import From CSV.

  • In the Import From CSV Dialog Box, browse to the file, select it, and click Open.

  • In the next dialog box that appears, select Use Import File Entries.

  • In the next dialog box that appears, select the desired action if errors occur during the import process.

  • A dialog box will appear indicating the records were successfully imported. It will also indicate the location of the report file created during this import process.

  • Click OK to proceed.
