Overview
Sangoma’s TeamHub Contacts supports both a Company Directory and Personal Contacts. When you click on the contact’s name the contact’s profile is displayed.
Each contact can be opened to view the user’s contact details and take additional actions.
How to access TeamHub Contacts
Click on Contacts in the left side panel.
The Contacts Panel is displayed.
Company Directory
The Company directory provides a searchable list of all your company’s contacts. This list consists of all company contacts, no matter which location they belong to.
Every contact has a contact profile that can be opened to view the user’s contact details.
From the contact details, you can initiate a direct message conversation, a phone call or send an email, with to that contact.
Personal Contacts
The Personal Contacts allows for adding personal contact to TeamHub.
By selecting personal Contacts, a searchable list of all your personal contacts that you have added is displayed.
Each contact has a contact profile that can be opened to view and update the contact’s details.
From the Contact’s details, you can also initiate a phone call or an email.
Searching Contacts
The search bar can be used to quickly find a contact within the selected contact type (Company Directory or Personal Contact).
Enter a portion of a name to filter the list of contacts. Clicking on the contact opens the contact details in a side panel.
How to maintain Personal Contacts
Add a Personal Contact
To add a Personal Contact, follow the steps below:
Select Contacts in the left side panel.
Click the Add Personal Contact button.
When the Add Personal Contact pop-up opens, enter the following information:
First Name (Required)
Last Name (Required)
Title
Company
Phone Numbers
Click the + ADD PHONE NUMBER link and enter the following:
Select the phone number type.
Enter the contact’s phone number or extension.
Click the + ADD PHONE NUMBER link to add additional phone numbers.
Click the Trash Can icon to remove a phone number.
Emails
Click THE + EMAIL link and enter the following:
Select the email type.
Enter the contact’s email address.
Click the + ADD EMAIL link to add additional email addresses.
Click the Trash Can icon to remove an email address.
Addresses
Click the + ADD ADDRESS link and enter the following
Select the address type.
Enter the contact’s address.
Click the + ADD ADDRESS link to add additional addresses.
Click the Trash Can icon to remove an address.
Click the Create button to save the contact or the Cancel button to back out of the changes.
Update Personal Contact
To update a Personal Contact following the steps below:
Select Contacts in the left side panel.
Select Personal Contacts.
Search and select the desired contact.
Click on the name to open the Contact Details.
Click the Edit button in the toolbar at the top of the contact details.
When the Edit contact window opens, make the desired changes.
Click the Update button to save the changes.
Delete Personal Contacts
Deleting a personal contact removes it permanently from the directory.
Search and select the contact in the Personal Contacts.
Click on the name to open the Contact Details.
Click the Delete button in the toolbar at the top of the contact details.
Linking Google or Office 365 Contacts
A great feature that TeamHub has, is it allows you to use your existing Google or Office 365 contacts. All you have to do is link your existing Google and/or Office 365 contacts to TeamHub by following the steps below.
How to link Google Contacts
Click on your user profile in the top right corner of the page.
Select Setting from the dropdown menu.
Select Contact from the Settings pop-up page.
Click the Add Contacts Source to connect button.
Select either Google Contacts or Office 365.
Login into your Google or Office 365 account.
Give permissions for Sangoma Teamhub to see and download your contacts.
A link to your Google or Office 365 Contacts will be added to the Contacts Panel.
How to disconnect Google Contacts
Click on your user profile in the top right corner of the page.
Select Setting from the dropdown menu.
Select Contact from the Settings pop-up page.
Click the Disconnect button, to the right the Google or Office 365 Contacts.
