Extension Groups enable you to group extensions together so you can apply changes and features to many extensions at a time.

Link to Contact Tag is automatically set to NO. Select YES to automatically create and maintain a Contacts Tag that matches this Group. You can assign the Tag to phone extensions, so when those people use their Switchboard Contact List, these extensions are included in All Contacts, and the user can filter to see just the extensions in this Group/Tag.

NOTE: When set to YES, changes to the Group are reflected in the Tag, and changes to the Tag are reflected in the Group. This includes changes to the name of the Group or Tag, and changes to the Switchvox extensions that are included in the Group or Tag. The differences between the Group and the Tag are the Group orders the extensions but the Tag does not, and the Tag contains External Contacts, but the Group does not.
