Once you create a Ring Rule, you can create its Ring Rule Conditions.
Call Type
Queue Calls. If the incoming call comes from any queue (whether it's an internal extension in the queue, or an external caller), the condition is met.
Direct Calls. If the incoming call was made directly to your extension (or to a DID that is directly routed to your extension), the condition is met.
Internal Calls. If the incoming call originated in Switchvox, the condition is met.
External Calls. If the incoming call originated outside of Switchvox, the condition is met.
All Calls. All calls coming into your extension.
Extensions
If the incoming call is from any one of these extensions, the condition is met. This can be one or many extensions.
Caller ID
Number Range: If the incoming caller ID number is equal to one of these numbers, or it falls between them, the condition is met.
Number Pattern: If the incoming caller ID number contains this number pattern, the condition is met. For example, 555matches 5551212, and 4345552.
Name Pattern: If the incoming caller ID name contains this case-sensitive text pattern, the condition is met. For example,Smith matches John Smith and Smithwicks, but not John Blacksmith.
Ring Hints
If the incoming call has this Ring Hint associated with it, the condition is met. Ring Hints are created and managed by your Switchvox administrator. They can indicate almost anything, so check with your administrator before using this condition.
