If the gateway is used in a fax call, many partial page request (PPRs) may be seen. Many PPRs will make the fax call last longer and it will be more prone to failure.
Procedure
The DMG1000 Gateways do not allow the user to disable ECM. If the DMG1000 Gateways are used in conjunction with a fax application, it is recommended to disable ECM within the fax application software. Please refer to the fax application software vendor's documentation to determine if ECM can be disabled.
