The below steps and screenshots describe the steps to rebuild a RAID array on a 380, 450, or 470 appliance. They apply to all of these systems due to them using the same model of RAID card. At any time during the steps, you can silence the audible RAID alarm by clicking the speaker icon at the top of the MegaRAID utility screen.

  1. During boot up, before BIOS, enter Ctrl + H to enter raid options

  2. Enter Ctrl + S when prompted to enter Adapter Selection screen

  1. Click Start to enter the MegaRAID BIOS Config Utility Virtual Configuration screen

  1. Click the Bad or Red colored drive to highlight it, then click Physical View

  1. Click the Bad or Black colored drive to take you to the Drive Page

  1. Click the circle labeled Make Unconf Good to mark it then click Go

  1. Click the circle labeled Replace Missing PD to mark it then click Go

  1. Click the circle labeled Rebuild Drive to mark it then click Go

  1. The rebuilding process will begin and display a progress bar, wait for the rebuild to complete

  1. Once complete, you can click Home

  2. Click Exit, and Yes when prompted

  3. Reboot the Switchvox
