Configuring Multiple Remote IMG's for SS7

In ClientView, configure the Primary SS7 server IMG0_1010 and make IMG1_1010 the Secondary.
Configure Stack 0 on Primary SS7 with OPC = 1-1-1.
Configure the Link Set under Stack 0.
Configure SS7 Link 0 which is connected from Primary SS7 server to SS7 network.
Create Route for Link 0 going to APC 2-2-2.
Configure the Link Set under Stack 0
Configure SS7 Link 1 which is connected from Secondary SS7 server to SS7 network.
Create Route for Link 1 going to APC 3-3-3.
Configure the Link Set under Stack 0.
Configure SS7 Link 2 which is connected from Rem_IMG2 on IMG 1004 to SS7 network.
Create Route for Link 2 going to APC 4-4-4.
Configure the Link Set under Stack 0.
Configure SS7 Link 3 which is connected from Rem_IMG3 on IMG 1010 to SS7 network.
Create Route for Link 3 going to APC 5-5-5.
Once all Stacks ,Link Sets, Links, and Routes are configured, the CIC's can be created. The CIC's are created under the channel group object. See Channel Group topic on information on how to create a channel group. Follow procedure below to create the cics and associate them with a specific IMG.
Create an SS7 Channel Group
Under Channel Group 0 object right click and select New ISUP group. In the OPC-DPC field select from drop down menu which Stack/Route to be used.
Under the ISUP Group create CICs and associate them with a specific IMG.
Create an second SS7 Channel Group
Under Channel Group 1 object create an ISUP group which contains CIC's for Secondary IMG1.
Under the ISUP Group create CICs and associate them with a specific IMG.
Create a third SS7 Channel Group
Under Channel Group 2 object create an ISUP group which contains CIC's for Remote IMG2.
Under the ISUP Group create CICs and associate them with a specific IMG.
Create a fourth SS7 Channel Group
Under Channel Group 3 object create an ISUP group which contains CIC's for Remote IMG3.
Under the ISUP Group create CICs and associate them with a specific IMG.
All Channel Groups are created. Each Channel Group is routed to a different point in the SS7 network. It could be an STP, SDP, etc. The above example is a basic SS7 network to give the user an understanding of how to configure SS7 Stacks, CIC's, Channel Groups etc.
