Overview
This release includes the following additional great features and enhancements:
Screen Annotation
Users can now annotate while sharing a screen with other participants. The annotation functionality is available to users on both the web and desktop applications.
From the web browser:
Annotation works with screen-sharing. Once user shares the screen, annotation option will appear in the toolbar as shown below:
Once user clicks on the annotation button, annotation toolbar will appear with following options:
Pin - the toolbar is always on the screen until unpinned,
Annotate - draw on the screen using different colors,
Grant access - gives other users annotation access,
Save - saves and downloads a screenshot
Note: The web browser user can only annotate on the self-window mode in Sangoma Meet. (Users will not be able to annotate on the shared screen/window).
From the desktop application:
The desktop application has additional functionality that includes the ability for the user to annotate on the shared screen as well on the self-window mode.
The annotation will disappear automatically after 4-5 seconds.

Custom Lobby Message
Moderators can now create a custom message from settings. Users/participants waiting in the lobby will see the custom message.
To create a custom message for your meeting, do the following:
Go to Settings > Lobby Room tab as shown below:
Participants and users waiting in the lobby room will see the custom message.
Move Users to the Lobby
Moderators can also move users/ participants back to the lobby room by doing the following:
Click the ellipsis button on the attendee’s card.
When the pop-up menu opens, select the Return to Lobby Room option.

Settings and Preference Storage
Now Sangoma Meet preferences and settings (listed under Profile > Settings ) will be stored and linked to the authenticated user.
Example: Selecting “Always start meetings with video off”, will store that setting in the database and the setting will be applied whenever the user signs into Sangoma Meet. This is supported across web, desktop, and mobile app.

Default Meeting ID
Users can now schedule meetings using default meeting IDs. The meeting ID will be linked to the authenticated user and the user can use the same meeting ID for multiple meetings.

Updated User Interface for Sangoma Meet Mobile
For a better user experience, the Sangoma Meet mobile application’s user interface has been revamped. Users can now join or schedule meetings via the mobile device. For the latest functionality, update the application for iOS and Android.
In-conference Feedback Flow
Users can now provide feedback on the Sangoma Meet’s performance during live meetings.
Click on More Action > Leave Feedback.

UI/UX Improvements
Screen Sharing
Green corner borders highlight the portion of screen being shared. (See image below.) The borders are only available when the user shares the screen using the Sangoma Meet desktop application
Call Participants
A numerical value on the participant icon represents the number of participants in the conference call.

Support for Connected Workspace!
Our DaaS team has been working diligently to integrate support for our video conference service within the virtual desktop environment. Now it is officially available to existing and new Connected Workspace customers.
The desktop application is pre-installed for all new Connected Workspace customers. The Sangoma Meet application can be provisioned for the existing customers via the Connected Workspace Portal.
