Description:
The Cause Code Tables object is created by Right Clicking on the Routing Configuration Object and selecting New Cause Code Tables. There is nothing to configure in this pane. The Cause Code Tables object maintains a database for multiple cause code table entries. Once the Cause Code Tables object is created. (Shown Below) you can now create multiple Cause Code Table Entries. You can create 1 Cause Code Tables object per Routing Configuration object.
Accessing this Pane:

None. This object will allow multiple Cause Code Tables to be created underneath it.
Configuring a Channel to Release With Cause
Overview:
This procedure will provide the steps to change the default cause code mapping for a specific cause code. Note that in the channel group the user sets the incoming and outgoing treatment method to “Release w/Cause”, which is also the default. Per the interworking specifications the IMG will interwork the cause code received on one channel to the other channel if no “CauseCode mapping table” has been linked to the channel group. If a cause code table is used then only the cause codes defined in the table will be modified. All other cause codes will map per the interworking specification.

To configure a channel to release with Cause, perform the following steps:
