Overview
Base file Editor in Endpoint Manager was designed to allow administrators override or adjust any configuration setting. You can add, delete or modify any setting, even if we missed including it. You can have the change affect specific model(s) or all models.
Accessing Base File Editor in EPM
Go into End Point Manager in your PBX and select the Basefile brand in the menu.

To modify an existing entry, click on the blue text for the entry you wish to change. IE: <P3>__line1Name__</P3>
Once an entry has been selected, you will see a window with the base file entry information
Select the models that you would like this setting to apply to.
Select the type of device. Even if you choose a phone model, you still need to choose Phone type.
Description is not needed, but makes the configuration file more readable.
Parameter is the "P-Code" for the setting.
Value can be any value you would like. You are also able to use any variables from Variables-Version 12.X or greater
If you are editing an existing setting, or adding a setting, click "Change Basefile" to save.
If you want to remove a stock setting, you can click the "Delete Entry" button.
