Overview
DSS (Direct Station Selection) keys are useful for direct dials, monitoring and assigning speed dials, but certain phone models shorten line labels resulting in ambiguity on line keys. The BV Portal allows users to modify these settings for Yealink phones that have the modify length feature.
NOTE: This feature is available on both BV and BV+ locations for the following Yealink phone models only: T33G, T46S, T48S, T46U, T48U, T54W, T57W, T58A, T58W and VP59. The T46U, T48S and T54W also have the option for a mid-range setting.
Accessing the DSS Key Length Option
Access the Business Voice portal and select the CONFIGURATION option at the top of the page.
Search and Select the required location.
From the Left Side Menu:
Select Individual phone settings
Updating DSS Key Length
① Search for the extension to modify
② In the new DSS Key Length field, select from the drop down

Once all changes have been completed, click the SAVE CHANGES TO SYSTEM button.
