IMG 1010 - Call Statistics

There are certain statistics such as Cacti (10.5.0), MRTG, and Channel Group Call Statistics that are available to the host. The host queries the IMG and the IMG reports the data being queried using specific log files. These log files are designed to provide Support Personnel with key information used to identify the operational status of the system. The statistics are kept on a per object basis and are stored in a separate directory. The statistics files are stored in a Microsoft® Excel spread sheet format so that they can be easily viewed and manipulated.

The available statistics objects are:

  • ISDN

  • H323

  • SS7

  • SIP

  • CAS

  • Layer 4

  • Layer 4 Channel Group

  • Gateway Control Layer

Location:

All statistics for configured objects will be logged to “.csv” (comma separated value) files and stored in the following directory

opt/dialogic/common/stats

Naming:

The naming convention for the statistics file is as follows:

<NodeName>_<StatsObject>_<DB_ID>.csv

Channel Group Statistics in ClientView:

If you click on the Main Channel Group Object in ClientView an "Object Table" Tab is selectable on the bottom right side of the ClientView screen. Once the Object Table tab is selected a table with the following call statistics for all the channel groups that are configured under the Main Channel Group Object is displayed. Below are what statistics of each channel group are displayed.

  • Incoming Calls (last 5 minutes)

  • Incoming Calls Answered (last 5 minutes)

  • Outgoing Calls (last 5 minutes)

  • Outgoing Calls Answered (last 5 minutes)

  • Average Hold Time for Answered Calls (last 5 minutes)

The Average Hold Time is calculated after the call ends. If there is no call released within one query period, the average holding time reported for that period will be 0, even if there are active calls in the period.
