10.5.1_ER1 - An Overview of Features

F-1516 SIP History-Info Header

Brief Description:

The SIP History-Info Header defined in RFC 4244 provides a way of capturing any redirection information that may have occurred on a particular call. Without the SIP History-Info Header the redirecting information would be lost. The SIP History-Info Header is generated when a SIP request is re-targeted and can appear in any SIP request not associated with a dialog. The SIP History-Info header is generated by a User Agent or proxy and is passed from one entity to another through requests and responses. See Related Topics for more info

Brief Description:

F-1521 Mapping between P-Asserted-Identity cpc parameter/Priority header and ISUP CPC parameter

Brief Description:

In software 10.5.1 ER1 the CPC (Calling Party Category) Parameter can now be included in either the From: Header or the P-Asserted Identity Header. The fields From: Header and P-Asserted Identity Header were added to the SIP ISUP CPC Mapping object in ClientView. Before software 10.5.1 ER1 only the From: Header could map the CPC parameters between SIP and ISUP and this was accomplished under the 'SIP From Header Tags' object.
