DS3 Physical Span (IMG 1010 Only) (10.3.3 Software and below only)
Description:
Use this pane to configure a DS3 span.
Note: The DS3 Physical Span object has been changed in Software 10.5.0 and beyond. If using software 10.5.0 and above do not use this procedure. Use IMG 1010 - DS3 Physical Span Configuration - 10.5.x if using software 10.5.0 and above.
Accessing this Pane:
Dialogic IMG EMS -> Logical IMG -> Physical IMG -> Facility -> TDM DS3 -> DS3 Physical Span
Maximum Objects:
1 DS3 per Physical IMG. 1 DS3 = 28 DS1's

Field Descriptions:
Offset:
The physical span getting configured. ClientView will allow the creation of 1 DS3 which is 28 DS1's. Offsets 0-27
Loop Timing Type:
This field is a drop down menu. This field specifies whether Primary Loop, Secondary Loop, or Not Timing Source will be configured on this offset. The drop down menu choices are shown below

Framing:
Specifies whether the framing of the span is ESF or D4.

Signaling:
Specifies whether signaling will CAS where the signaling for each channel is directly associated with that channel or will be Clear Channel where one channel is used to carry signaling for all other channels

Line Coding:
Specifies the line coding of T1 span. E1 line

DS3 Loopback Mode:
Enable local or remote loopback with the DS3 Loopback Mode field. To allow loop-back to be configured from the far-end, enable the DS3 and DS1 FEAC Responses option in the Bearer DS3 id:0 ClientView pane.
