CNAM SIP-TCAP Interworking

The TCAP_CNAM object is created under the GCL Services object. The SIP-TCAP Interworking object has a drop down menu which will display all the subsystem numbers created. The TCAP_CNAM Interworking object can be used to associate a service with a particular channel group. Once the TCAP_CNAM Interworking object is created, it can be added as a New Service to a SIP Channel Group. This object is used when configuring a CNAM server used to determine a calling party's name. For more information, refer to the Channel Group Service topic which is configured under the SIP Channel Group object.

Related Topics and Dependencies

Before creating the CNAM object, an SS7 stack configured for ANSI SCCP/TCAP must first be configured. Under the SS7 stack, the SCCP/TCAP object can be created and then the Subsystem number. Once the Subsystem Number is created, the CNAM SIP-TCAP Interworking object can be created. Within the CNAM SIP-TCAP Interworking object the Subsystem Number can then be selected.
