Overview:

The IMG 1010 will support either E1 or T1 spans on a single IMG but not both. If utilizing IMG for E1 protocol, the user can create up to a maximum of 24 spans. If utilizing the T1 protocol, the user can create up to a maximum of 32 spans. (See IMG 1010 - Specifications). The spans for either E1 or T1 can be created on the signaling or bearer interfaces located on the rear of the IMG 1010.  Once the Bearer and Signaling Spans have been created there is a facility wizard which will allow a user to configure the profile of each span on a range of spans.
