Description:
Use this pane to configure CAS Circuits on the IMG. Only TDM spans configured for CAS signaling in the IMG 1010 - Facility pane will be available to use in CAS Channel Groups.
Accessing this Pane:
Dialogic IMG EMS -> Routing Configuration -> Channel Groups -> Channel Group (Type CAS) -> Channel Associated Signaling -> CAS Circuits
Maximum Objects:
1 CAS circuits Object per CAS Configured Channel Group

Field Descriptions:
IMG Name:
This will be a drop down menu of all Physical IMG's configured under this logical group. Select from drop down menu the IMG that the CAS circuits will get configured on.
IMG Interface:
Signaling - Select Signaling from drop down menu if the CAS circuits will be on the Signaling/Timing ports on the rear of the IMG. If configuring the IMG 1004, the only selection from drop down menu is Signaling
Bearer - Select Bearer from drop down menu if the CAS circuits will be on the Bearer ports on the rear of the IMG.
Start Interface Offset:
Select from drop down menu the Starting Interface Offset which is the physical port on the rear of the IMG. The offsets that are configured in the for CAS will be the only offsets available in the drop down menu.
Start Channel:
Select from drop down menu the Starting Channel
End Interface Offset:
Select from drop down menu the Ending Interface Offset which is the physical port on the rear of the IMG. The offsets that are configured for CAS will be the only offsets available in the drop down menu.
End Channel:
Select from drop down menu the Ending Channel
Monitoring Fields:
Trunk Type:
Displays the Trunk Type as either T1 or E1.
CAS Channel Count:
Displays the number of CAS channels configured.
Channel Count:
Displays The number of CAS Channels in the Channel Group.
Busy Out Flag:
This field indicates if Busy Out is enabled or disabled in the IMG 1010 - Signaling Variant pane. To Busy Out channels Busy Out must be enabled. To Busy Out a channel or range of channels, select them in the bottom frame, right-click, and select Busy Out.
Busy Out Disabled (default)- Calls will process.
Busy Out Enabled- Used during maintenance periods and will send a busy signal to an inbound caller. Also, if channel is set to 'busy out', that channel will continue with any calls that are in process. As the calls are hung up, they will go back to an idle state and not accept any more calls until the busy out feature is eventually disabled.
