THIS WIKI HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR VERSION 13 OF YOUR PBX GUI

The Sound Languages module is not to be confused with the Languages module.

What is the Sound Languages module used for?

The Sound Languages module controls which languages are available for sound prompts, for both callers and users. You can define the global default language for your system and make other languages available. This is where you install or remove languages.

How is the Sound Languages related to the other modules?

You can select a language for sound prompts in modules such as Inbound Routes, Conferences, and Extensions to name a few. You can also use the Languages module (not to be confused with Sound Languages) to change the language for sound prompts at any point in the call flow. The available languages will depend upon what you have installed in the Sound Languages module.

How do I get to the Sound Languages module?

  • Log in to the your PBX's GUI.

  • On the top menu click Admin
