The original handset that comes with the base station is pre-registered with the base station. To register additional handsets follow these steps:

Enter the base unit PIN (System PIN; default: 0000) and press
Restart base appears in the display.
At this stage, the message “Restart base” will appear on the display. This requires the DP175 base station to be in subscription mode simultaneously, which can be either enabled from the web configuration menu or by power cycling the base.
The handset will now search for the base unit and register when it has found it. The display shows standby mode after a successful registration and the handset name and handset number appear.
Note: If you want to register a handset to a new base, it has to be first de-registered from the existing base by selecting "desubscribe handset" option under the Handsets tab in the web GUI.
Pick up the handset for any phone that is paired with the base station, which by default is the phone included with the purchase of the base station, and dial *** to initiate the IVR Menu.

Dial “02” and the IP Address will be played to you.

Dial “10” and the MAC Address will be played to you.

Dial “14” and the IP Address that is currently being used for the configuration server will be played to you. You can then enter a new 12 digit IP Address.
Dial *** to initiate the IVR Menu, dial “15” and the configuration protocol will be played to. Press “9” to toggle between tftp, https or http as the configuration protocol to use.

Dial “99” to factory reset the base station.
Press “9” to reboot the device.
Select the “Menu” button.
Select "Status."
Scroll down until you see the IP and Mac Addresses.
Enter the IP Address into a local web browser address field.
Log in with the phone admin password, which is "admin" by default.
Click on the “Advanced Settings” option at the top.
Define the Config server path to your PBX. Generally this would be the IP Address, such as 10.10.0.1 used in our example. Then press the “Save” button at the bottom.
Select the “Menu” button.
Select "Config."
Scroll down and select the option "Factory Reset."
You will now need to enter the MAC Address of the phone. It can be found on a label on the bottom of the phone.
Press "OK" and the phone will reboot and perform a factory reset.
Select the “Settings” button.
Select the “About Phone” option.
Scroll down to view the IP & MAC Addresses.
Select the “Settings” button.
Select the “Advanced Settings” option.
Select the “Upgrade” option.
Set the “Upgrade Mode." In our example we set this to TFTP.
Set the “Config Server Path." In our example we set this to 10.10.0.1.
Select the “Settings” button.
Select the “Advanced Settings” option.
Select the “Factory Reset” option.
Confirm by pressing the “Factory Reset” button.
Select the “Menu."
Select “System Info."
Select the “Network” tab.
You will now be shown the current IP & MAC Addresses of the phone.
Enter the IP Address into a local web browser address field.
Log in with the phone admin password, which is "admin" by default.
Click on the “Advanced Settings” option at the top.
Define the Config server path to your PBX. Generally this would be the IP Address, such as 10.10.0.1 used in our example. Then press the “Save” button at the bottom.
Select “Menu."
Select "System Settings."
Select "Maintenance."
Navigate to the "Reboot" tab.
Select the "Factory Reset" option. The phone will then reboot and perform a factory reset.
Pick up the connected handset and dial *** to access the main menu for device configuration.
Wait to be instructed to enter your command.
Dial "002" and the IP Address will be played to you.
Pick up the connected handset and dial *** to access the main menu for device configuration.

Dial "010" and the MAC Address of the unit will be announced to you.
Enter the IP Address into a local web browser address field.
When prompted, enter “admin” as the password.
Click on the “Advanced Settings” option at the top.
Define the Config server path to your PBX. Generally this would be the IP Address, such as 10.10.0.1 used in our example. Then press the “Save” button at the bottom.
Using Reset Button
Unplug the Ethernet cable.
Locate a needle-sized hole on the back panel of the gateway unit next to the power connection.
Insert a pin in this hole and press for more than 4 seconds.
Take out the pin and all unit settings are now restored to factory settings.
Using IVR Command
Pick up the connected handset and dial *** to access the main menu for device configuration.
Dial "099" and wait for the reset voice prompt.
Enter the MAC Address of the device using the following mapping.
0-9: 0-9
A: 22
B: 222
C: 2222
D: 33
E: 333
F: 3333
Wait 15 seconds and the device will automatically reboot and restore factory settings.
Lift the handset of the phone connected to your ATA and dial *** to initiate the IVR Menu.
Wait to be instructed to enter your command.
Dial "02" and the IP Address will be played to you.
Wait 15 seconds and the device will automatically reboot and restore factory settings.
Enter the IP Address into a local web browser address field.
Log in with the phone admin password, which is "admin" by default.
On the main page you can see the MAC Address.

Dial "73738" and, when prompted, press “1” to confirm.
With the device connected via Ethernet cable, click on the link below to download and install the free GSurf_Pro software from the Grandstream website.
Click the “Search” button and the detected devices will appear in the Output field.
The IP Address for this device will display in the IP column.
Once the device is detected using the GSurf_Pro software, double click the device. Your browser will automatically open and link to the device IP and the web configuration page.
From the home page, click on “Configuration” at the bottom left. The default username is “admin” and the default password is “admin."
Under Basic Settings on the left, click “Status."
The MAC Address will display under Network Status.
Once the device is detected using the GSurf_Pro software, double click the device. Your browser will automatically open and link to the device IP and the web configuration page.
From the home page, click on “Configuration” at the bottom left. The default username is “admin” and the default password is “admin."
Under Advanced Settings on the left, click “Maintenance."
Then under Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning, define the Config server path to your PBX. Generally this would be the IP Address such as 10.10.0.1, used in our example. Press the “Save” button at the bottom.
Once the device is detected using the GSurf_Pro software, double click the device. Your browser will automatically open and link to the device IP and the web configuration page.
From the home page, click on “Configuration” at the bottom left. The default username is “admin” and the default password is “admin."
Under Advanced Settings on the left, click “Maintenance."
Then under Restore the device, press the “Restore” button.
The device is now reset to factory default.
