How to Request API Keys

Access to these APIs requires specific credentials to ensure the security and proper management of your integrations. To start making API calls, you'll need an API Key. Follow the step below to request CommUnity API Keys.

Steps to Request Community API Keys:

  1. Navigate to the "Settings" Section: On https://admin.netfortris.com/ , navigate to the settings section and click on “API Key and Secret” option

  2. Click "New Key": To request a new API Key click on “New Key”.

  3. Provide User Search and ACL:
    User Search is the user email ID
    ACL stands for Access Control List. At its core, an ACL is a set of rules that determines what actions a specific API key is allowed to perform and which resources it is allowed to access.

  4. Click on “Create Key”. One user is authenticated and validated, the user will be provided with API KEy and Secret as shown below.

  1. Admin can also see the API Key generated in the past for users and can manage the API Key from the CommUnity Admin portal.
