CommUnity - HUD to TeamHub Migration Guide

Objective
We are introducing a new UCaaS client, TeamHub, designed to provide a more modern and streamlined communication experience. This guide will walk you through what to expect before, during, and after your migration.
Migration Checklist
Please note that Departmental Call Center licenses will not be included in this initial migration. We will be transitioning these accounts in the near future.
Before migrating, review the following:
✓ Contact Support to assist with your migration
✓ External contacts will automatically migrate to the new client
✓ SMS (text) messages and chat history will NOT migrate
✓ HUD access will remain available for reference
✓ After migration, all communication should occur in TeamHub
Before Your Migration
Step 1: Contact Support
To begin the migration process, contact Support. A Support representative will assist you with your migration to TeamHub.
Step 2: Understand What Will Be Migrated
During the migration, your External Contacts will automatically be transferred to TeamHub. No action is required on your part.
Step 3: Understand What Will Not Be Migrated
Your SMS (text) messages and Chat history from HUD will NOT be migrated to TeamHub.
However, you will still be able to access HUD after migration if you need to reference previous SMS messages or chat conversations.
Note: Users can login to TeamHub on CommUnity prior to migration and get basic functionality. However, to get the full feature set of TeamHub, Support will need to complete the migration process.
During The Migration
Your migration will be completed with assistance from Support.
Once the process is complete:
Your account will be ready in TeamHub
Your External Contacts will already be available

Step 1: Begin Using TeamHub
Once the migration is complete, begin using TeamHub your primary communication client.
Step 2: Access HUD for Reference Only
You will still be able to log in to HUD you need to view past SMS messages or chat conversations if needed.
Step 3: Do Not Continue Working in HUD
Important:
After your migration is complete, do not continue sending messages or chats from HUD.
Any activity performed in HUD will not be mirrored or synchronized with TeamHub.
