Dialogic IMG - Incorrect number of channels displayed for VoIP Resource
Symptom:
Dialogc® IMG 1010 Integrated Media Gateway (IMG) VoIP Resource displays incorrect number of channels configured in Dialogic Gate Control Element Management System (GCEMS) ClientView.
Reason for the issue:
There are two possible reasons that the Number of Channels configured property may display an incorrect value.
1. VoIP Resource Profile has been changed in dhcpd.conf or bootup.cfg
When the VoIP Resource Profile has been recently changed in either the dhcpd.conf or in the bootup.cfg, if using an SD card, then in order for the channels and profile to be updated, the VoIP Resource Facility object needs to be deleted and re-added.
This screenshot identifies the VoIP Resource that must be deleted and re-added under the Facility object:

2. IMG license file must contain both AMR and EVRC licenses if either AMR or EVRC is present (software before 10.5.3 SP4)
If the above deletion and addition does not correct the profile and number of channels configured, and either AMR or EVRC codecs are in use, check to ensure that the IMG license file contains a component for both AMR and EVRC codecs.
In IMG software versions prior to 10.5.3 SP4, if either AMR or EVRC codecs are licensed without the other, the Number of Channels Configured will be zero. This is not the case in versions 10.5.3 SP4 or later.
Here is an example of an IMG license file that contains both AMR and EVRC components:
