Table of Contents

Symptom

When running software version 10.5.1 ER 2 and earlier on the Dialogic IMG Integrated Media Gateway 1010 (IMG), call tracing may not be generated on the Dialogic Gate Control Element Management System (GCEMS).

Additionally, Dialogic Gate Control Element Management System ClientView may display the message "Configuration NFS Server Failed".

It is also possible that the bold line above may be completely missing.

Reason for the issue

The problem occurs due to the GCEMS sometimes not sending a particular message to the IMG when it is restarted.

Fix / Solution

This issue is resolved version 10.5.1 ER 3 or later of the software (firmware build 203).

Workaround

Removing the "Call Tracing Enable" node in ClientView and re-adding it will force the mount point to be recreated on the IMG and call tracing should be available again.
