SIP Profile - 3xx
The SIP 3XX object configures the Initiate 3xx Response to Endpoint feature. The Initiate 3xx Response to Endpoint feature configures the IMG 2020 to be able to transmit either a 301 Moved Permanently or 302 Moved Temporarily Redirect responses back to a particular SIP Endpoint. The responses sent back to the SIP Endpoint will include the IP address of a second SIP Endpoint to redirect the incoming call to. Refer to the information below.

One SIP 3XX object can be created per SIP Profile.

The SIP 3XX object is created under the SIP Profile object. The SIP Profile object can then be linked to an External Gateway. All parameters configured in the SIP Profile and SIP 3XX objects will be associated with the specific External SIP Gateway. The SIP 3XX object initially has only one field displayed. As you enable each field, a second an then third field are displayed allowing user to configure more information as needed.

Initiate 3XX Response
The Initiate 3XX Response field enables the 3xx Redirect to Endpoint functionality.
Disable (Default) - The 3XX Response to Endpoint functionality is disabled.
Enable - The 3XX Response to Endpoint functionality is enabled. After selecting Enable from the drop down menu, a second field labeled 3XX Response will open up and can now be modified.
3XX Response
The 3XX Response field is by default set to Disable. Select from drop down menu either 301 or 302.
Disabled - Default setting. The functionality is disabled until either 301 or 302 is selected from drop down menu.
301Â - Selecting 301 configures the IMG 2020 to respond to the SIP gateway on the incoming side with a 301 Moved Permanently message. Selecting either 301 or 302 will open up a third field labeled Contact Header IP Address.
302Â - Selecting 302 configures the IMG 2020 to respond to the SIP gateway on the incoming side with a 302 Moved Temporarily message. Selecting either 301 or 302 will open up a third field labeled Contact Header IP Address.
Contact Header IP Address
Enter the IP address of the gateway the call will be redirected to.
