How to find the Serial Number
Overview
On a Dialogic 1000 or 2000 Media Gateway Series (DMG1000 or DMG2000), the Serial Number can be found on a small sticker with a barcode located underneath the unit itself.
On newer models of the DMG1000 and DMG2000 shipped from late 2011, using Software Version 6 Service Update 7.0 or above, it is also possible to view the Serial Number in the Web GUI or the Config.ini file as described below. If you cannot find the Serial Number using the methods below, it is likely that the DMG2000 is an older model, in which case, the Serial Number can be determined by looking for a sticker on the unit.
Web GUI
Go to the Menu option Status and then Summary. The Serial Number will be displayed in the General Status Information.
Config.ini
In the Web GUI go to the Menu option Configuration then Import/Export and click on the option Export All Settings (Config.ini) and save the file.
