Dialogic Voice Cards - Configure PRI fractional lines

How to configure a fractional line with a Diva PRI/T1/E1 card

To configure the Diva PRI/T1/E1 card for fractional lines open the Dialogic Diva Configuration Manager from the Dialogi Diva program group.

  • Click on the PRI Line

  • Make sure that the Advanced view is enabled

    • To enable this, click on 'View' and tick 'Advanced'.

Your Configuration Manager should look like this:

To activate the fractional line select 'Yes' at the option 'Fractional T1/E1 line'

NOTE

Select 'No' if you use a full E1 or T1 line offering 30, 24 or 23 B-channels.

Once you have selected the option 'Yes', you will see two further configuration options:

  • Lowest B-Channel

  • Number of Available B-Channels

Please enter your first channel number, and the number of available channels on your Fractional line. This information should be provided for you by the ISDN line provider.

To complete the configuration you will need to activate it:

  • Click on 'File' and select 'Activate'.

  • Reboot when prompted

NOTE

Other parameters shown in this example might need to be different to comply with your setup. In this example we have 8 available channels on our PRI line.
