Configuring Diva Media boards for Linux
The Diva System Release for Linux can be configured using either the console based program Config or using the Diva web interface.
Configuration consists of 3 steps:
Activate the system interfaces
Configure the Diva Media board(s) for your line setup
Save configuration and start driver
Using the Config programÂ
To start the console based Config program enter:
cd /usr/lib/opendiva/divas
./Config
A series of screens will appear and enable you to activate the system interfaces and configure the Diva Media board(s).

To configure your Diva Media board(s) select your board from the list and click OK. Â

If you require more assistance on configuring your board(s), select the Help option at any stage. If you are unsure about an option, it is best to select the default setting.Â
However the default settings may not necessarily apply for your line configuration (direct line, PBX, S0, T0,..), therefore ensure that the following main connection settings are configured correctly:Â
Configure D-channel protocol
Configure trunk operation/dialing mode
Configure D-channel layer 2 activation policy (ISDN boards only)
Interface mode (ISDN boards only)
Following the usually recommended board configuration settings:

BRI Point to multi-point connection, also known as 'Standard', 'S-mode', and 'Mehrgeraeteanschluss' in German.
D-channel protocol = ETSI, Euro-ISDN
Trunk operation mode = Point to Multipoint
TEI = Automatic
Layer 2 activation policy = No disc
Direct Dial In (NT2) = No
Interface mode = TE-mode

D-channel protocol = ETSI, Euro-ISDN
Trunk operation mode = Point to point
TEI = 0
Layer 2 activation policy = No disconnect

Once you have configured your board the wizard will bring you back to the Diva board selection screen. Select the 'Save Configuration and Exit' option to save your changes.
To start the driver enter
/usr/lib/opendiva/divas/Start

Using the Diva web interface
The Dialogic Diva HTTP server is designed to run as a daemon in the background. The default port 10005 is used for the HTTP protocol, whereas the default port 10006 is used in conjunction with the HTTPS protocol. To access the Diva web interface you need a web browser with Java Script support.
In order to use the Diva web interface it is necessary to do the following:Â
Change to /usr/lib/opediva/divas/httpd/login directory.Â
Edit the login file with a text editor and replace 'XX' with the password of your choice.Â
If you have a firewall, make sure that in your firewall you have allowed traffic through on TCP port 10005.Â
To view the web configuration page type the IP address of the server in the URL bar of your web browser followed by :10005.
To activate the system interfaces go to the System Configuration page

To configure the boards go to the Board configuration page, and select 'Configuration' from the board's drop down menu.

To start the driver go to System control page.
