Symptom

How to configure PDK for Nortel Lineside E1 link provided by Nortel Meridian O81C PBX.

Fix / Solution

The pdk_sw_e1_ntmd_io.cdp which is designed specifically for the Nortel Meridian switch. The E1 link must be configured as "trunk" side and set the signaling CAS protocol to "Loop Start". Refer to the switch manual to configure this. You need to make sure the CAS signaling bits/timings are the same on the switch and the cdp file.

Incoming and outgoing calls are in reference to the CPE. 

All ABCD bits are with respect to SENDing from LEI/M1 to CPE or 

RECEIVing from CPE to LEI/M1. 

Please enter new ABCD bits or hit to accept. You may enter 2 or 4

to the C and D bits.
