NetBorder Call Analyzer Answering Machine Detection - Customizing Detection Type
Table of Contents
To increase speed of the detection you may want to disable the AMD and/or end of greeting detection (700-1900hz tone). The downside to this is of course there will be no AMD or end of greeting detection, so it would only be used in certain cases.
How to Enable
Depending on your mode edit the correct file listed below:
CallAnalyzerAsOutboundProxy.call-properties
CallAnalyzerGenesysOCS.call-properties
Change "app.nca.ExpectPhoneNumberPrefix=false" to "app.nca.ExpectPhoneNumberPrefix=true"
Save and restart NCA
How to Configure
NCA will now be expecting a prefix of "991x" with x being one of the values listed in the table below.
In your dialer configure the correct prefix to be sent. For an example if you would like to Enable AMD but disabled end of greeting then send the prefix "
9911". So if you were calling Sangoma the total number would be "991119054741990". NCA will stip the "9111" from the begining of the number and send out "19054741990" to your SIP proxy/ITSP.
NOTE:
You must Always include a prefix in every call
In Genesys mode when "9910" is sent a 302 will be sent back to your dialer. The dialer should then use the contact header in the 302 to continue with the call.
