MFC/R2
The first step is to log into the NBE UI using the start menu (Start -> Netborder Express Gateway -> Gateway Manager) or http://127.0.0.1:7783/ if you are on the NBE server. Next just go to the "Quick Setup" tab as shown below, then click next.Â
Once you click next NBE will detect the cards in your system as shown below. Select the card(s) you wish to configure; then click Next.
On the next page you will be asked your country as shown below, select it and click Next.Â
This page allows you to configure the link for R2. So first select "E1" as the interface type then select "CAS" as the signaling type. Once those two options are selected the link is configured for R2.  Once done click Next.
On the next page you will be asked the about the port NBE listens on. Also you will be asked for the IP we listen on. Default values can be assumed in most installs; change values only if required. Once done click Next.
This page is asking where your SIP pbx is located, in most cases it is on the same system so localhost:5060 (as shown below) is correct.Â
This will auto start on startup and restart NBE if it happens to crash. Default values should be used; change only if required.Â
You are done! Click "Restart Gateway" to start the gateway with your new config.
