M3 Auto Upgrading
Your M3 server has the ability to keep itself upgraded for both minor releases and major releases. Â The check for updates is run nightly at a random time.
ÂLog into your M3 server and click on Settings on the right side.
ÂClick on the M3 Updates tab
To enable auto updates of minor releases within the same major release, set the Build Updates to "On."
ÂTo enable auto updates on major releases set the Version Updates to "On."
ÂIf either of these options are set to "No," you will still get an email alert nightly if upgrades are available, but the system will not install the updates. You would need to manually yum update M3. Â Any time an update is found, an email alert will be sent to you regarding the upgrade. Once it's installed, another email will be sent informing you of the completed upgrade.
