Unlocking clients via Session ID

M3 will automatically unlock and log you in to client machines that are running Version 12 or higher. However, for 2.11 and 2.10, this is not available, and the session must be manually unlocked.

This is a simple and painless process, but does require you to copy and paste.

Firstly connect to the client machine. You will have a login page that is similar to this.

Even though you can't see it, your Session ID is actually displayed at the bottom of the screen. It is, however, displayed as white text on a white background, so it's invisible until you highlight it. You can easily see the location of it by pushing Control-A on your keyboard. This will highlight the entire page, and you will see the session ID. (It has been circled in red in this screenshot, to emphasise the location. You will not see the red circle)

Copy and paste that string into the M3 page for that server, and click the 'Unlock' button. That will connect to the client machine, unlock the session, and if successful, will display so (or, display an error explaining what the problem is, if there was one)

After that is done, you will be able to click on 'Click here to go to this machine' and you will be automatically logged in.
