FAX Support - How to adjust the minimum or maximum transfer rate for fax transmissions?

Adjusting the Max Transfer Rate for Fax Transmissions may help when faxes occasionally fail - sometimes with the error (FAILED:HANGUP:remote channel hungup) 

  1. Login as the user under /main

  2. Go to Voicemail/Fax > Fax Options > Sending/Receiving > Advanced Options

  3. Adjust Max Transfer Rate for Fax Transmissions from 14400 to 9600. (Start at 9600 if this fails try a lower setting)
