FAX Support - Faxing does not work using Mediatrix ATA device?
Faxing over ATA device may work although it is not supported. See Supported Faxing for more information.
Configure ATA
To configure an ATA Device
In the pbx:
Go to Setup > Manage
Modify the extension you are wanting to configure to the phone.
Go to Phone Settings > Common Settings
Create an authentication password. This is the password that Switchvox will use to configure your phone. It is separate from the voicemail password which is numeric. The Common Settings password can be number and letters
Within the phone's web interface:
Identify the phone's IP address
Point your browser to the web interface of the phone
Here are a few things to check if you are still having problems.
Failed registrations:
Check Access Control - make sure SIP is enabled for which every network this device belongs to
Check Access Control > Blocked IP - make sure that you ip is not being blocked
Check Error logs - see if it says registration failed for wrong password
Check T.38 Settings
See if T.38 setting on the ATA is causing the issue
Mediatrix ATA -Try disabling T.38
