FAX Support - How to use the load_debug.pl script

This is a walkthrough on how to use the load_debug.pl script in portalaccess.switchvox.com. If a PBX is randomly crashing this tool can be used to help determine why the crash may be occurring.  The load_debug.pl script periodically takes a snapshot of the PBX load and running process so you can see what process are running and help determine if they are consuming systems resources at an excessive rate.  The tool does not work for 4.x+ versions, it requires 5.x+.

1. Login to portalaccess.switchvox.com and enable tech support access for the PBX.

2. Once the PBX has been connected to portalaccess.switchvox.com click the Scripts link.

3. The page will refresh and you will see Run Scripts, click the Run Scripts.

4. Select load_debug.pl and select how many hours you want it run. It can go up to 168 hours.

5. Wait for the PBX to crash then get reconnect to the VPN tool.

How to review the output:

1. Login to portalaccess.switchvox.com and click the scripts link.

2. Under download_file.pl select /tmp/load_moniter
