How to setup Click to Dial in Comm-unity

THIS METHOD IS USING 3RD PARTY PLUGINS NOT OFFICIALLY PROVIDED BY NETFORTRIS, INC.

NOTE: If a website has their numbers in a tel:// hyperlink format, there is NO plugin needed! However, a plugin can help convert "Plain Text" phone numbers to hyperlinks. ANY plugin/tool that can convert website numbers to tel hyperlinks should work. 

Example:

555-123-1234 (Plain Text)

555-123-1234(HyperLink)
 

Requirements as of 2/10/2021:

*myHUD for Mac OS X (Windows Default Dialer coming soon!)

*Chrome

*Chrome plugin Option #1 "Tel-Linker"

(If that doesn't highlight the numbers on your CRM - Try option 2)

 

*Chrome plugin Option #2 "SIP Caller Click to Call"

Once you install Option #2 plugin, click it on the upper-right (where your plugins are) and select the "tel:NUMBER" Protocol type. 

 

That's it! If you have the webpage loaded, reload it, and you should see compatible number formats high-lighted now. When you click one, it will ask you to select the application to dial it with. Here you should see & select "myHUD".
