Yealink SIP T20P Server Configuration

Configuration instructions for Fonality service

 

Use the Silver four-way arrow keys in order to scroll through the menu options.

Use the 'OK' key in the center to select.

Because the LCD is small, only one option will be displayed at a time.  You must press the down arrow key in order to see more options available within a particular menu.

Adding the device to an extension via the User/Extensions section of the Fonality CP will generate the configuration file for the Yealink to use once configured.

 

If the phone is idle:

First, locate the IP Address of the Yealink phone in your network:

  1. Click the Menu button on the IP Phone.

  2. Press 1 key for Status

  3. Note and Write down you IP Address assigned to your phone.

 

Now we need to access the Phone though the Web Interface:

  1. Open a web browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome...)

  2. in the address bar, enter the IP address of the phone and press the enter key

  3. At the Authentication Required box, you need to enter the Username and Password for your Yealink device.  If you do not have it, please open a ticket with Fonality Support or call into Fonality Support for assistance logging in.

  4. Once logged into the Web Interface of your Yealink T20P device, navigate to the Upgrade

  5. Tab on the top right-hand side.

  6. Switch from the Basic View to the Advanced View just below the Green main tabs

  7. Enter our FTP server in the Provisioning Server field: ftp://ftp.pbxtra.com

  8. You will need your Username and Password for your server.  You can obtain your FTP credentials in your Admin Panel of your Fonality CP. Click here for details.

  9. Directly below that field, enter the Username 'Enter your username'

  10. Directly below that field, enter the Password  'Enter your password'

  11. After entering the Provisioning Server, Username, and Password scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Confirm button to save the settings.

  12.  Confirm that the Settings are are correct, and press the Auto Provision Now button below the settings we just edited.

  13. The phone will update  it's configuration files based on the extension it is assigned to.  Please allow up to 3-5 minutes for the syncing to complete.

  14. The phone will automatically reboot once the Auto Provision is completed.

     

The phone should be fully able to register to your Fonality Server at this point.  If you encounter additional issues that are preventing you from using your device, please contact Fonality Support for assistance.
