How do I configure my Polycom phone to work remotely?

The following walk-through of Polycom configuration for remote use (telecommuter use) shows a Polycom 330 IP Phone.  The menu options for the 330 should be identical to the 320, 550, 560, and 650.  The Polycom 501 and 601 series phones also have exceedingly similar steps.

01 - press the MENU button on your phone - even if it is not the model shown.

11 - You will be prompted to enter a username/password to continue:

Username (case-sensitive): Polycom
Password: 9418941962 ( if this password does not work, try 456 )

That's it!  Your phone should reboot and start working.  If you still have problems, but other users are working, be sure to tell your Administrator the model number and version of your modem/router (read it off the bottom label).
