Network Connectivity - Faxing Over SIP Provider That Is A Sangoma Gateway Using T.38

    Sangoma does not support this method. With that disclaimer in mind, Sangoma has seen a good success rate for customers sending and receiving faxes this way when Switchvox and the Gateway are located on the same network.

    In order to enable this option, logon to the gateway as an admin:

    1. Navigate to Configuration > SIP Endpoints > click the pencil icon on SIP Endpoint that is being used for faxing (Switchvox) > Main tab > set Enable Advanced Options to Yes

    2. Click Fax Settings tab and set Fax Mode to T.38 with Passthrough Fallback

    3. Save Endpoint
