ASSUMPTIONS:
These instructions assume you have at least one suspected defective module and one working module, possibly on different analog interface cards. Also, it is assumed the technician working on the system is qualified to remove and install the given analog interface card from the base system, per the cards associated user manual.
INSTRUCTIONS:
With the system powered off and unplugged from its power source, remove the interface card from the system.
Re-seat the suspected faulty module on the interface card by physically removing the module and inserting it back onto the same port on the interface card.
Re-install the interface card into the system.
Plug in the power cable and power the system on, and see if the problem persists.
If so, perform step 1 again.
Swap the suspect module with a known working module. If the known working module comes from same interface card, install the suspect module where the working module was previously.
Perform step 3 again.
Perform step 4 again. Note the state of all modules involved, whether the known working module now fails, or whether the suspect module begins working.
Repeat steps 5 through 8 until either the suspect module is verified to be defective, or a defective port is identified on the interface card. Once you've identified the faulty product(s), contact Sangoma Support via any approved method for warranty support:
