Open Source - Using the register utility on a 64bit-only system
SCENARIO:
You have a 64bit system (AMD64/x86_64/EM64T) with no 32bit libraries installed. The register utility is only available as a 32bit executable. Will you be able to register your Digium software module licenses?
ANSWER:
No. You will need to install 32-bit compatibility libraries for your system.
In general, Digium binaries are unsupported on Gentoo systems. However, it may be possible to get them to run if the 32-bit compatibility libraries are installed and 32-bit userspace emulation is enabled. You can find some information about this here:
Please contact Digium technical support if any issues are encountered.
