Open Source - What can I do if my Digium Phone is stuck in a boot loop and it is PoE?
Do the following if your Digium Phone, which is PoE, is caught in a boot loop:
Boot/reboot the phone.
While the phone is booting, during the 8 steps, press any key to enable reconfiguration.
After the 8 steps, hit the Settings softkey.
Select Reset to Factory Defaults, then press Reset. The phone will eventually reboot.
While the phone is booting, during the 8 steps, press any key to enable reconfiguration.
After the 8 steps, press the Settings softkey.
Select Digium Configuration Server.
For the server, enter the PBX IP address, and enter 5060 for the port. Submit these settings.
When prompted for the Global Configuration Password, enter the Assignment code (go to Setup > Digium Phones > Desk Phone Assignment Options > use the Assignment Code).
Select your extension, and the phone should register automatically. If your extension does not appear in the list, simply enter the extension number and press select to choose it.
Phone should boot up with the correct extension number next to the line key.
