Open Source - Why Cant I Blind Transfer Using Rapid Dial Keys?
There are two different kinds of transfers: Blind and Assisted.
Assisted Transfers allow you to speak with the person receiving the transfer before completing the transfer.
Blind Transfers send the caller directly to the person receiving the transfer.
When using a Rapid Dial Key to transfer a caller, it will perform an Assisted Transfer unless you have the Blind Transfer Rapid Dial setting enabled.
