Open Source - How to change the background image on your Polycom VVX model phone

The following are the steps to take to alter the background image on a Polycom VVX model phone. This could be useful for personalization or for company specific backgrounds that may need to be displayed. 

  1. Log into the phone web interface by entering the IP of the phone in a web browser.

  2. Log in as Admin (for the password enter 456).

  3. Navigate to Preferences>Background.

  4. Select the image you would like to use or you can upload one by clicking on Add a new background image.

Note: To locate the IP address of the Polycom phone, select Menu-> Status -> Network -> TCP/IP Parameters. Take note of the listed IP address
