Open Source - How do I blind transfer on a Polycom VVX phone?
On most phones, when performing a transfer that is not assisted, the Caller ID of the original caller is preserved. On Polycom VVX phones, there is a different process to perform a blind transfer, in order to preserve Caller ID. Follow the steps below to preserve the original Caller ID:
While you are actively on a call, press and hold the Transfer key, until you see more selections
On the screen press Blind
Enter the extension number you want to transfer the call to
On the screen press Blind. Note: if you don't see Blind, press More, and then press Blind
